Hi, I’m so glad you stopped by! I’m Summer, a wife, mommy, follower of Christ, and pursuer of good stories and interesting people. I have a BA in Biology, am a Doctor of Occupational Therapy, and have 15 years of experience engaging people of all ages, and ranges of ability. I’ve had a front row seat to beautiful triumph over hardship and heart wrenching tragedy, and am continually amazed at the perseverance of the human spirit. I could tell you some interesting stories and maybe I will in the Book of My Life section of the blog!
Speaking of stories, I’m excited to share some of my thoughts on the stories I’ve been immersing myself in lately! My “holding nothing back” reviews are not solely to critique or rate each book, but also in sharing the ways each book has impacted areas of my own life. You will also find it interesting to know that most of the books I have reviewed or will be reviewing over the next few months are found in happenstance from our local free little library. I’m continually amazed at what I have found in these little book boxes. I can’t help but wonder if my creator, the One who cares for me the most and the author of the greatest story ever recorded, puts these stories in my path for a greater reason. Only time will tell.
